Why Blank is the Greatest Creation

Creativity is emptiness made of different paths to you, filled with all shades of you — efen_cee

When there’s nothing, there’s well, nothing. Then, there is all the space there could be to create. But, oftentimes, we tend to name our circumstances in life the reason we are unable to create, unable to do something worth celebrating. We list that job that ties us down, the kids that we have to sit all day, every day, the school work with a deadline. All appearances of distraction would always seem to increase geometrically. What really stops us from all other things we could do?

No time. This simply equates to us saying we have no blank. No space. Yet time and time again, I sit back and almost can’t name something productive, fulfilling that I did with all my ‘booked’ time. The days I could hold onto the fact that I did make a headstart with my daily routines, were days that somewhere in those routines, I allowed myself to breath, let me be consumed by whatever monotonous chore it was I was doing that I did it better, I created. Because it had not been done, there was plenty of space for me to indulge with my entirety that the end product was never the same as other days. This played out on several occasions with things as simple as cleaning up the house, doing a ‘boring’ assignment and lots others.

Maybe because we haven’t truly defined what nothing means to us, it always sways through our lives like vapour. If I’m asked to define nothing (which I’m not but will still go ahead and define) I would call it the path to creation. To everything.

The end is but a mirage

Nothing leaves room for everything worth celebrating; or not. It allows the mind the space to create everything original. When nothing exists, we see that everything could and as creatives, humans, there’s just always something to fill that void up; though while struggling with bringing them all to life we might tangle these creations into each other but is that not all there is to perfection? Our creations however frequent or sporadic, in however trickles they come, lead straight from us, to us. We see ourselves, others from their creation. Whatever understanding we make out of what we see and recognize, however true and untrue, the stereotypes we make out of them are ours to live with and create with too. In the end, the creator doesn’t always explain their creation to you.

Sometimes, when I read up my writings from a while back mostly creative but not always, I see me, in all my glory from that time spilling herself to those sheets and if I had all of my creation archived in order of hierarchy and shown to me, what I may see, is my transition in life. Whatever I see, I hope I can look at my last piece of creation and think “It is good”.

I hope I can look at me in the end and appreciate all of my creation, all of me as it sums up to making the last of my creation to be what I would call the perfect work of creation.

It felt nice to finally quote myself and feel like some deep thinking smartie😅
